He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughters, Adline Ravenell of Maryland, Monica Major of New York and Kim Major-Walker of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Anwar Torres, Julien Walker and Kaitlyn Major-Hale; his siblings, Fred Broughton (Amelia) of Orangeburg, SC, Henry Broughton of Cross, SC, Harold Johnson (Barbara) of Dorchester, MA, Robert Broughton (Ruby) of Fayetteville, GA, Joseph Broughton of Lithonia, GA, Curtis Broughton (Pamela) of Mauldin, SC and Eartha Sanders (Alvin) of Temple Hills, MD; his brother-in-law Everett Sanders (Julia) of East Point, GA; and his aunt Maria Williams (Herman) of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
