He was predeceased by: his father Jesse L. Cartee; and his siblings, Eugene Cartee, Jack Cartee, Clark Cartee, James Cartee and Lillian Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Cartee; his children, Lois Bradshaw (David), Henry "Hal" Cartee, Jr. (Janet) and Gregory E. Cartee; his grandchildren, Rachel Bradshaw-Dykes (Cameron) and Brandon Cartee; his great grandchild Dawson Dykes; his siblings, Gary Cartee (Diane), Joan Henson, Faye Darnell (Bob), Sue Burns and Paula Bishop; his close friends, Jeanne Leya and Sonny Peagler; and his pet Shadow.
