He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Frederick Thompson and Ruby Lee Beam Thompson; his wife Rena Martin Thompson; his daughter Brook LeRae Mizner (Dennis Clinton, Jr.) of Ladson; and his grandson Hayden Reese Childers.
