He is survived by: his wife Mary Franklin; his children, Michael D. "Mike" Franklin, Jr. (Lisa), Matthew Franklin (Brittany), Marshall Franklin (Dee) and Michelle Barnett; his siblings, Donnie Franklin, Raymond Franklin, Roger Franklin, Barry Franklin and Sherry Hitchcock; and his nephews, Thomas Barnett and Timothy Franklin. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren.
