She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Grant and Linda Lee Grant; her husband James Wesley Pitts; her daughter Sheryl Hall; her grandchildren, Pamela Pitts and Kendrick Hall; and her siblings, Mamie Bell, Geneva, Bernice, Johnny, James, Willie Edward, Junior Lee, Ulysses and Otis.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Williams (Rufus) of Silverstreet, SC, Samuel Pitts (Bertha) of Clinton, SC and Leonard Pitts (Deloris) of Cross Hill, SC; her son-in-law Yancy J. Hall of Columbia, SC; and her sister Thomasena Grant of Cross Hill, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen greatgrandchildren.
