He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Kinard, Sr. and Marie Floyd; and his daughters, Anita Kinard, Stephanie Kinard and Michelle Kinard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kinard of Cross Hill, SC; his children, Johnny Kennedy Kinard of Cross Hill, SC, Geraldine Kinard of Cross Hill, SC and Janice Pitts of Philadelphia, PA; and his friend Christopher Jones. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
