He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lee Steadings and Mary Margaret Langston Steadings; his former wife Deborah Elizabeth Guy Steadings; his siblings, Dink Steadings, Tommy Steadings, Annie Gregory, Jane Alexander and Judy Satterfield; and his stepdaughter Summer Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Samantha Dawn Trammell Steadings; his children, Pamela Steadings, Alexis Steadings, Donald Donnie Chares Steadings (Libbia) and Alex Dalton Steadings; his stepdaughter Kayla Sullivan; his sister Joyce Simmons Thomas (Harvey); and his grandchildren, McKenna Gary, Ashley Shipman, Nikki Steadings, Devin Steadings (Nicole), Joshua Steadings (Embry) and Bobbie Ann Steadings. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stribling Funeral Home (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel (118 W Main St, Duncan, SC 29334).
