He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Delores Lance Sprouse; his parents, Grover Cleveland Sprouse and Lois Thomas Sprouse; his children, Kathie Hunter (Hal) of Hendersonville, NC, Debby Sanford (Barry) of Orangeburg and Joel Sprouse; his sisters, Marie Vice of Roebuck and Vera Lackey of Augusta; his grandchildren, Shane Sanford (Meg), Melony Sanford, Michael Sprouse and Ben Rieger Lance Sprouse (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Seito Sanford, Shunto Sanford, Taylor Sprouse, Pierson Rieger, Sharlene Cunningham, Susan McLaughlin, Julia McLaughlin, Stephanie Midyette and Tammy Patrick.
