It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Lanford of Cross Anchor, South Carolina, born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Shannon and Lillie Mae Bobo Grady; her husband Paul W. Lanford Jr.; and her grandchildren, Tina Ballard and Shaun Cain.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Ballard (Eddie) of Woodruff, Paula Cain (Greg) of Birmingham, Alabama and Paul W. Lanford III (Wanda) of Moore; her grandchildren, Melissa Ballard (Rondrick Goodman), Brandy Cudd and Bradley Paul Lanford (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Tyler Goodman, Kaitlyn Cudd, Victoria Cudd and Gage Cain; and her great great grandchildren, Serenitee Shropshire, Graydin Cain, Dayton Shropshire and Lialahh Faye Rios.
