She was predeceased by: her husband George McGinnis; her parents, Gilbert Leroy Ruppe and Jeanette Bolin Ruppe; and her sister Lois Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Scott McGinnis (Heidi) of Cowpens and Kelli Ferguson (Brinkley) of Stokesdale, NC; her siblings, Reverend Jerry Ruppe (Kay) of Forest City, NC and Hattie Bolin of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Aiden Ferguson, Gunner McGinnis, Bo McGinnis and Hunter Grace McGinnis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Blakely Funeral Home (1047 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Frederick Memorial Gardens (986 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341).
