He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Fay and Mary Jane Freeman Greene. He is survived by: his wife Donna Arthur Greene; his children, Amy Henderson (Emery), Michael "Bubba" Greene (Lana), Kerry Smith (Paul), Kathryn Biershenk (Jason), Lara Pappas (Josh) and William Greene; his grandchildren, Andrew, Emma, Mason Greene, Abby Blanton, Waylon Smith, Haven, Victoria, Lenore Beirshenk and Drayton Pappas; and his sister Lynn Davis (Rick).

A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Cowpens (108 W Church St, Cowpens, SC 29330).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
