He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel and Mary Alice Miles; and his spouse Minister Ruth Miles. He is survived by: his daughter Alfredia Thompson (Robert Jr.) of Catawba, SC; his grandchildren, Timothy McCrorey (Lori) of Plainville, Vicki McClurkin (Tony) of Rock Hill, SC, Falacia Burris (Marcus) of Rock Hill, SC, Robert Thompson (Lisa) of Rock Hill, SC, Frederick, Sr. Thompson (Nikeenah) of Heath Springs, SC and Johron Brown of Chester, SC; his siblings, Mattie Miles Walker of Patterson, Ethel Mae Miles Ford, Odessa Miles Holman of Farmville, Virginia and Joseph Miles (Dolores) of Haldon; and his sister-in-law Peggy Jean Gregory of Chester, S. C. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
