He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Cantrell (Willis) and Willie Abb Cantrell; his wife Annie Geneva Cantrell (Brown); his children, Pamela Brown Bruce and Darren Dwight Cantrell; his grandson Nicholas Bruce; and his siblings, Imogene Mitchem, Jim, Bob, Harold and Ken Cantrell.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Cantrell Caruso (Paul); his brother Olin Cantrell; his siblings-in-law, Jeff Brown, Mike Brown, Peggy Alexander and Sue Taylor; his grandchildren, Zachery Dwight Cantrell (Robbie) and Melissa Cantrell Marr (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Kendall Marr and Desmond Marr.
