He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Phillips; his parents, Doctor Crawley and Flora Lee Phillips; and his son Brian Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Richard Phillips (Debra) of Lowell, MI, Randy Phillips of Cowpens, Cathy Rice (Leonard) of Cowpens and Tammy Alverson of Cowpens; and his siblings, Charles Phillips of Cowpens, Billy Phillips (Linda) of Boiling Springs, D. C. Phillips (Carol) of Spartanburg and Patricia Gallman of Cowpens. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
