He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Irene and O. S. Lipscomb; his wife Marilyn Martin Lipscomb; and his siblings, Wilson Lipscomb, Faye Gardner, Raye Lipscomb, Paul Lipscomb, Tom Lipscomb, Sadie Lovingood, Francis Humphries, Furman Lipscomb, Lamar Lipscomb, James Lipscomb and Mary Jane Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his children, Louie Scot Lipscomb, Janet Lipscomb Ward (Doug Smith) and Tammi Lipscomb Harrison (Joey Harrison); his grandchildren, Travis White, Jason White, Joshua White, Nicole Harrison Abercrombie (Nick Abercrombie) and Matthew Harrison (Anna Harrison); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn White, Jonathan White, Alexander White, Lucas White, Weston Fitzgerald and Ella Abercrombie; his sisters, Mae Ella Blanton and Rebecca Jane Leazer; his close friend Joyce Harrell; and his great-niece Melissa Willis.
