She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Leonard Smith; her parents, William Carl Frady and Essie Wyatt Frady; her grandson Jonathan Brook Erwin; and her siblings, Jo Williams (Dean), Boyd Frady, Harlan Frady and Melvin Frady.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Peterson (Lee) of Cowpens and Kaye Erwin (Ronald) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Buffie Hayes, Regina Taylor, Crystal Webber and Shannon Erwin. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
