She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Thomas and Blanche Mize Seagle; her sons, Daniel Adolphus Kirby, Thomas Lee Kirby, Mark Hershel Kirby and Brian Stacy Kirby; and her brother-in-law John Hammett.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Kirby-Ivey (Michael) of Spartanburg and James Craig Kirby (Stacy) of Cowpens; her siblings, Ken Arthur Seagle (Sylvia) and Shirley Hammett of High Point; her great grandchild Nathan Kirby; her niece Renee S. Annis; and her nephew Kenny Seagle.
