He is survived by: his parent Afaf Elkout; his wife Carol Abdin; and his children, Alisha Alcala-Morris (Stevan), Chris Ingram (Valeria), Sameerah Abdin (Bruno), Eleanora Abdin (Nora), Leena Abdin and Mohamad Abdin. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Park.
