She was predeceased by: her husband Wallace Mitchell Mathis, Sr.; and her parents, William Kimsey Seay and Dora Pugh Seay. She is survived by: her son Michael Mathis (Sandi) of Cowpens; her daughter-in-law Rita Mathis of Spartanburg; her sister Nelleen Seay of Pacolet; and her grandchildren, Michelle Brennan (Mark), Terri Edwards (Mickey), Mike Mathis, Jr. (Tami), John Gabriel Mathis (Shelly) and Charlotte Michael Mason (Daniel).
