He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Goode and Edna Mae Ramsey Goode; his daughter Joy Goode; his grandchildren, Lindsey Parks and Charles Edward Goode; and his siblings, James Goode, R. E. Goode, Pete Goode, Paul Parks, Coffine Huskey, Virginia Fowler and Lucille Linder.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Tackett Goode; his children, Jeffrey Scott Goode of Cowpens, James Edward Goode (Jane) of Chesnee and Precious Goode of Spartanburg; his brother Bobby Joe Goode (Pam) of Cowpens; his grandchildren, Holly Goode Estes (Zack), Preston Scott Goode, Christy Butler and Chad Butler (Kelley); his great grandchildren, Killian Estes, Caitlyn Rose Goode, Kailey Parks and Marissa Parks; and his great great grandchildren, Brayden Parks and Elizabeth Parks.
