He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester I. Linder and Nola Blanche Linder of Cowpens, SC.; and his grandson Blake Brooks of Chapin. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Starnes Linder; his stepchildren, Becky Jackson (Chuck) of Irmo and Bobby Brooks of Chapin; his grandchildren, Brooke Sprayberry (Brice) of Mt. Pleasant, Ben Brooks (Laura) of Chapin and Barrett Brooks (Madison) of Chapin; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Ellison Sprayberry, Brodie, Bauer, Barron Brooks, Berkley Brooks and Henry Brooks.
