He was predeceased by: his wife Sally Anita Whitlock Dale; and his parents, Edwin Louis Dale and Barbara Jean Hornburg Dale. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Clive Dale and Catherine Amelia Dale; his grandchildren, Elliott Kimsey, Saige Kimsey, Lucas Hayes and Lillie Bagwell; his siblings, John Dale, Thomas E. Dale, Elizabeth Barnette, Rebecca Foster and Daniel Dale; his aunt Darlene Bender; his cousins, Nancy and Joe Ells; his aunt Mary; his uncle Joe McMahon; and his friends, Gene Woods, Phil Arthur and Tim Jones. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, Inc. and The Gibbs Cancer Center of Spartanburg in honor of Andrew's memory and his enduring spirit.
