She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Braveboy and Elfreda "Freda" Thomas Johns; and her siblings, Jimmy Braveboy and Shirley Evans. She is survived by: her husband George Barber; her children, Lori Horton of Mt. Pleasant, Brian Floyd (Claudia) of Lake City, Lisa Kicklighter of Patterson, GA and Kristi Bird (David) of Lilburn, GA; her grandchildren, Dawson Floyd, John Ingram Horton, IV, Madison Elizabeth Floyd, Mary Catherine Horton, Kolby Williams (John), Trae Kicklighter (Erin), Avery Guy (Courtney), Jatin Yarbrough (Mary Kate), Liliann Bird and Kella Bell (Dave); and her great grandchildren, Emmy Kicklighter, Braelyn Guy, River Anne Yarbrough, Anniston Guy, Liza Kate Bell and Cason Bell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
