He was predeceased by: his parents, Early D. Young and Mazie McKnight Young; and his siblings, Marshall Young, Edna Y. Sims and Keith Young.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Matthews Young; his children, Tonya McGowan (Johnny) of Florence and Todd Young of Lake City; his granddaughters, Katie Dorrell (Wesley) of Lake City, Ashley Lee (Sulli) of Lake City, Grace of Florence and Jessica McGowan of Florence; his great grandchild Andrew Samuel Lee; his nephew Bryan Young (Stephanie) of Coward; his sisters-in-law, Jaronia Young of Coward and Carolyn Young of Coward; and also, Joy Morris of Florida and Mary Cagle of Lake City.
