He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert O'Restus Cox and Bertha Skipper Cox; his wife Gussie Ann Todd Cox; and his sister Smithy Jo Hux. He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Greenan (Jack) of Florence and Traci Lewis of Charleston; his brothers, Jack Cox of Dallas and Jimmy Cox of Loris; his granddaughters, Victoria Lewis, Tanner Lewis and Taylor Quarles (Jeff); his great grandchild William Aubrey; his grandson John Greenan (Candice); and his great grandchildren, Jack and Anne Lawson.
