Rodney Shaffer Obituary

We bid farewell to Rodney Shaffer of Cottageville, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 13, 2025 at the age of 69. Rodney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Shaffer and Betsy Heberling; his brother Randy Shaffer; and his brother-in-law David Carter. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Klessner (Scott), Frances Nelson-Jamison (Kelvin), Jada Shaffer, Richard Shaffer, Travis Shaffer and Jeffery Shaffer (Kayla); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Scott, Tyler, Rayshawn, Maioni, Asiana, Rodney and Zachary; his wife Annamay Shaffer (Miller); and his siblings, Richard Shaffer (Janet), Raymond Shaffer (Debra) and Cindy Carter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Rodney.
