James W. Bessinger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Bessinger of Cottageville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burness Eugene Bessinger and Ida Caroline Wetherington Bessinger; and his siblings, Burness "Burnie" Bessinger, Harriet Hall, Susan "Susie" Bessinger and Mark Hall.
He is survived by: his son Robert "Robbie" Bessinger (Melissa); his grandchildren, Brooke and Courtney Bessinger; his sister Carol Brow (Larry); and his nieces and nephews, Blake Rhodes (Haley), Audra Rhodes and Jeremey Hall (Lynn Brown).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483).
