He was predeceased by: his parents, Ryland Woodruff and Harriett Gladson Woodruff; his wife Gertrude "Trudy" Woodruff; his grandson Matthew Cook; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Woodruff.
He is survived by: his children, George T. Woodruff, Jr., Chris Cook (Eddie), Marlene Woodruff Herbert and Angel Fanning (Henry); and his sisters, Betty Foxwell, Julia Feagin and Debbie Goins. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and his extended family.
