He was predeceased by: his parents, David Cromwell "Crum" Nettles and Georgia Dantzler Nettles; his brother J. D. Nettles; and his sister-in-law Ruth Nettles. He is survived by: his wife Doris Nettles Nettles; his daughter Beth Sherer (Brad) of Chapin; his grandson Thomas Yates Sherer of Chapin; his sister Irene Steely (Rob) of Denver, CO; and his nieces and nephews, John Nettles (Bobbi) of Gerton, NC, Mark Nettles (Tammy) of Cordova, SC, Beth Sieks of Warrenville, IL, Pam Galkowski of Pueblo, CO and Kim Sherry (Tom) of Littleton, CO..
CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service and the visitation.
