It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherrie Smoak of Cordova, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, G. L. Johnson, Jr. and Mary "Mickey" Bessinger Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Tommy W. Smoak; her daughters, Karen Berry and Lisa Proveaux (Kevin); her mother-in-law Ollie Smoak Nettles; her brothers, Rickey Johnson (Linda), Al Johnson (Pam) and Glen Johnson; and her aunt Martha Boltin (Clevie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
