He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garfield and Emma Jean Joyner; his daughter Erica Joyner Hair; his brother Paul Joyner; and his grandson Stephen Strolis.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Lovelace Joyner; his daughters, Barbara Boltin, Shelly Pound (Shawn) and Amanda Johnson (Jordan); his son-in-law Cody Hair; his stepchildren, Katie Spigner (J. D.), Timothy Garrick (Lauren), Joseph Garrick and Benjamin Garrick; and his siblings, Glen Joyner (Debbie), Gary Joyner, Eric Joyner (Marie), Dianne Anderson and Darlene Collins (Edward).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the The Pounderosa (4110 Old State Rd, St Matthews, SC 29135).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to "CaCa's Place" honoring his late daughter, Erica Hair's boys.
