He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Sanders and Betty Sanders; his brothers, Marvin Sanders and James Sanders; and his brother-in-law Johnnie J. Davis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hubert Lee Sanders of Orangeburg, SC, Mark E. Sanders (Sharonda) of Orangeburg, SC, Ruby Sanders of Cordova, SC, Regina Davis and Corrine Montgomery (George) of Orangeburg, SC; his brother-in-law Grover Davis of Orangeburg, SC; his aunts, Dorothy S. Dulaney of Elloree, SC, Lorraine Shell of Cope, SC and Barbara Sanders of Orangeburg, SC; and his close friend Brian Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
