She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar "Sonny" Lee Hughes, Jr.; and her parents, Dr. Andrew Cornelius Stroman and Marie Blewer Stroman. She is survived by: her children, Oscar Lee Hughes, III (Mona), Anna H. Rast (Steve) and Andrew Stroman Hughes (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Randy Hughes (Destiny), Benjamin Hughes (Kaitlyn), Brooke Rast, Thomas Hughes and Jordan H. Crutchley (Adam). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (2720 Broughton St, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
