She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Avant and Minerva Crosby Avant; her husband Harold L Blewer, Sr.; her sons, Danny A Blewer and H. LaVerne Blewer, Jr.; her siblings, Clark Avant, Barry Avant, Mary A. Connelly, Julia O'Quinn and Jennie Walling; and her great grandchild Caleb Gabriel Blewer.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Wanda R. Blewer of Orangeburg; her grandsons, Kevin L. Blewer (Shanell) of Orangeburg and Kyle H. Blewer (Paige) of Anderson; her great grandchildren, Ashlin, Ainsley, Warren, Wyatt, Tristan Blewer of Orangeburg, Camden and Grayson Blewer of Anderson; and her great great grandchild Kharmella Fanning of Orangeburg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (3144 Cordova Rd, Cordova, SC 29039).
