He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Long Smith; his son David Aubrey Smith (Kaye) of Swansea, SC; his stepchildren, David Thompson (Vikki) of Denmark, SC, Andy Thompson (Martha) of Barnwell, SC and Hope McMillan (Steven) of Bamberg, SC; his sisters, Arelene Kirby of Cordova, SC and Elaine Robinson (Wyman) of Cope, SC; his sister-in-law Lee Smith; and his children, P. O. Box and Duncan.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bamberg Church of Christ (298 Mc Gee St, Bamberg, SC 29003).
