He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry John Smith and Genevieve Elizabeth McGrane Smith; and his sisters, Mary (Betty), Genevieve Ann, Dolores, Patricia and Margaret Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Addie Denton Smith; his children, Perry III (Danielle), Gail Dziamniski (Eric) and Michael (Cary); his grandchildren, Ryan, Paul, Perry John, Matthew, Patrick, Caroline, Michael, Katie and Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Ivan, Camila and Sofia. He is also survived by loving nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mepkin Abbey (1098 Mepkin Abbey Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Agape' Hospice, 3955 Faber Place, Suite 202, North Charleston, SC 29405.
