She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McNeil and Daisy McNeil; her daughter Barbara Lucas; her siblings, Johnny, Julius, Andrew, Bertha and Catherine; and her stepchildren, Luther Jr., Leon, Louise, Mary and Gloria.
She is survived by: her grandson Corey Lucas (NY); her stepchildren, Doris Gadson, Maxine Simmons, Linda Simmons, Arthur Simmons and Edward Simmons; her brothers, Oscar McNeil (NC) and James McNeil; and her friends, Martha Smith and Gene Ramsay. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
