He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Theodore Etheredge, Sr. and Mattie Ruth Gleaton Etheredge; his siblings, Harriet Chambers and Allen Theodore Etheredge, Jr.; and his brother-in-law W. P. "Billy" Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sons, Jason O'Neil Etheredge of Orangeburg and Patrick Michael Etheredge of Orangeburg; his brothers, Muldrow Etheredge (Gina) of Covington, LA and Harvey L. Etheredge (Gayle) of Lexington, SC; his siblings-in-law, Lydia H. Carter (Don), Lynn S and Chris G. Hughes (Cheri); and his granddaughter Abigail Etheredge. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Stroke Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or to the charity of one's choice.
