He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Solomon Cleckley and Celia Mae Cleckley (Huggins) of Cordova, SC.; his wife Bessie Berry Cleckley; his sons, Roger "Al" Cleckley (Melba Tucker) of Atlanta, GA, Adrian Cleckley (Ashley Bellamy) of Dubai, UAE and Kendrick Cleckley (Tarsha Lorick) of Columbia, SC.; his grandchildren, Justin, Kennedi, Janna, Kendra and Jordan; and his siblings, Rev. Robert Cleckley (Lula Shaw) of Columbia, SC, Dr. Watson Cleckley (Cassandra Mitchell) of Orangeburg, SC. and Dr. Gwendolyn. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Good Hope AME building fund.
