He is survived by: his children, Amanda Dempsey, Lonnie Padgett, Jr., Dilion Macolm Padgett and Zackery Matthew Padgett; his grandchildren, Dalton Glover, Hayden Dempsey, Connor Hiott, Landon Searson, Brayden Padgett, Addison Padgett, Zayden Kearse, Aubree Dempsey, Roselynn Still, Kyleigh Johnson and McKenzie Johnson; his siblings, Gregg Nix, Deedee Meeks and Karen Proveaux; his fiancée Nicole Rutland; and his fiancée's children, Kakayla Rutland, Jason Rutland and Joseph Rutland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
