He was predeceased by: his father Hansel F. Emory, Sr.; and his stepfather Jean Carpenter (Papa Jim). He is survived by: his wife Kathy M. Emory; his daughter Kimberly Emory Smith (Trey); and his siblings, Melanie Stone (Gary), Nicole Ballew (Wade) and Khris Emory (Melissa). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
