With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilmarie Huggins Boatwright of Conway, South Carolina, born in Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Branford A. Huggins and Ethel Fowler Huggins; her husband Jackson Grover Boatwright, Jr.; and her brothers, Watson Huggins and Wendell Huggins.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Russell A. Boatwright, Sr. (Patrice) and Tammy B. Duryea (Dan); her grandchildren, Russ (Shana), Savanna, Chandler (Jared) and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Charlee, Lila, Holden, Aibi, Memphis, Laney and Elli. She is also survived by her family and friends, especially her 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the First United Methodist Church, 1001 5th Ave., Conway, SC 29526.
