He was predeceased by: his parents, Reason Theadford and Myrtle Stover Wriston; his wife Eloise J. Edwards Wriston; his siblings, James Wriston, Evelyn Scott and Sadie M. Morris; and his great grandchild Jayce E. Taylor-Jones.

He is survived by: his children, William Lee Wriston, Jr. of Gloversville, NY, John T. Wriston of Junction City, KS, Richard A. Wriston of Marriott, OH, Tammy L. Wriston of New Cumberstown, OH and Donna J. Jones of Conway, SC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
