Rupert M. Stalvey Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rupert M. Stalvey Sr. of Conway, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary Ann Long Stalvey; his parents, Rupert Irving and Eva Mae Dunn Stalvey; and his sister Mary Louise Stalvey Creel. He is survived by: his son R. Miles Stalvey, Jr.; his daughter-in-law RoxAnn Hodges Stalvey; and his grandchildren, R. M. "Tradd" Stalvey, III, Lawton Virginia Stalvey and Ann DuBose Stalvey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Mary Ann Long Stalvey Scholarship Fund at Conway High School Educational Foundation, PO Box 3073, Conway SC 29526.
