He is survived by: his children, Robert Modica Jr. (Jennifer Gleba) of Peekskill, NY, Daniel Modica (Susan) of Burlington, NJ and Patty Bailey (Arnold) of Newport, TN; his grandchildren, Michael Young (Leah), Deanna Modica, Bryant Bailey and Katelyn Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Ryker Young.

“Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy were my favorite aunt and uncle. Their children, Patricia, Robert, and Daniel, were my favorite friends in the Bronx, and I missed them when they moved. Uncle Bob was always doing something fun when I visited--playing the xylophone or telling a funny story. He was great to be around. He always seemed to be full of energy and in a playful mood. I also have fond memories of how he helped build a gigantic rabbit during a snowstorm in front of our house on Furman Avenue.”
