He was predeceased by: his parents, Marsden Howard and Ellen Ludlam Anderson; his daughter Virginia Anderson Cooper (Gail); and his siblings, D. D. Anderson, Winston Anderson, Bill Anderson and Rev. Carl Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Earline Rabon Anderson; his children, Robert L., Jo Ann Johnson (Bill) and Helen Gore (Ricky); his son-in-law Mack Junior Cooper; and his grandchildren, Bryan Anderson (Stacie), Ginger Cooper, Jason Cooper (Brittany), Robin Crawford (Victor), Paul Johnson (Cassie), Heather Fogle (Blake) and Derek Gore. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
