It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robbie Yarborough of Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudell McDonald and Ruby McDonald Rogers; her husband Master Sergeant Walter Yarborough Jr.; her sister Faye Sowell; her granddaughter Karen Yarborough Tanner; her daughter-in-law Ramona Yarborough; and her friend Linda Welborne.
She is survived by: her sons, Walter Brent Yarborough (Lorri) of Lexington, S. C., William Michael Yarborough (Jackie) of Conway, S. C. and Donald Craig Yarborough (Helen) of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; and her siblings, Carroll McDonald (Rae) of Hartsville, S. C., Virginia Gregory of Inman, S. C., Lynn Hall (Paul) of Hartsville, S. C. and Bill Talbert (Debbie) of Leesville, S. C.. She is also survived by Her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mt. Horeb Church (1205 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
