She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hyman McDowell and Fannie M. Bullock McDowell; her son Richard Watts; and her siblings, Steve McDowell, Ricky McDowell, Virginia Johnson and Gayle McDowell.
She is survived by: her husband James Herron; her children, John Frankie Watts, Teresa Hayes of Conway and Deanna M. Herron of Conway; and her siblings, Johnny McDowell of Columbia, Jimmy McDowell of Myrtle, Curlie Havenstein (Louis) of Severn, MD. and Trudy Miller (Jerry) of Conway. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
