He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia; his parents, Maude McCoy and Leinster McCoy; and his brothers, Douglas McCoy and Leinster "Bunk" McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Talbot of Murrells Inlet, SC and Randy McCoy of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Shelley Talbot Pope (Brian) of Clayton, NC and Brian Talbot (Tania) of Raleigh, NC; his great grandchildren, Seth, Luke, Jake Pope, Tyler and Morgan Talbot; his close friend Harriet Hutson; and his siblings, Robert McCoy and Lana Bailey.
