With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J Hughes of Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2020 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Rupert and Eloise Lewis Hughes; and his siblings, Faye Hughes Harder (Ray) and Lamar Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Karen K. Hughes of Conway; his daughters, Faith Squires (Derrik) of Conway and Rebecca Cooper (Casey) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Banks Cooper, Eliza and Colson Squires; and his siblings, Lloyd Braxton Hughes (Vergie), Joe Randall Hughes (Wanda), Isaac Tyson Hughes (Carol) and Patricia Gail Logan (Ralph).
